Accessibility Statement
Kintaria is committed to digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. The audience we are building for — adult children caring for an aging parent — often includes people using assistive technology, large-print zoom, screen readers, voice control, or one-handed interaction while doing something else. We design for that.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.
thrive.me conforms with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The site was audited against the WCAG 2.0/2.1 A and AA rule set using axe-core; the most recent run reported zero violations. We re-audit on every meaningful design change.
Measures we take
This site is built to support:

- Self-hosted fonts (no third-party CDN), so the page renders consistently on slow networks and respects user font-size preferences
- A heading hierarchy that flows logically (no skipped levels) so screen-reader users can navigate by structure
Voice line accessibility
Our voice line at (888) 704-0999 is staffed by a virtual receptionist that uses real-time speech recognition. The agent is trained to speak clearly, pace itself for callers who need a moment, and pause when a caller interrupts. If the agent isn't working for you for any reason — accent, hearing differences, disability, fatigue — we want to know, and you can reach a human by emailing info@thrive.me. We do not penalize anyone for not using the voice line.
Known limitations
We're actively working on:
- Manual screen-reader testing with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver has been partial — we audit with each major release but haven't yet done a comprehensive sweep across all three.
- The Linda caregiver-story video on the homepage does not yet have a captions track (.vtt). Until it does, the surrounding text on the page conveys the substance of what's said in the video.
- Captioning and transcripts for the voice line are stored privately but not yet user-accessible. If you'd like a transcript of your own call, email info@thrive.me and we'll send one.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or the voice line, please tell us. We commit to acknowledging your message within five business days and to providing a substantive response or fix on a timeline appropriate to the issue.

Audits include automated scanning with axe-core, manual keyboard navigation, screen-reader spot checks, and review of any new interactive component. As the product itself launches, the same standard applies inside the app.
